About the Artist
Faye Rai is currently based on the South Coast, where she gains inspiration from the flora and fauna around her. She enjoys capturing the small details and complimentary colours of her subject matter. After years of painting only with watercolours, she has just begun her journey of painting on the streets as she never imagined her images could belong there. However, she now thinks that her work gains a more delicate quality once it is placed in the harsh urban environment and is excited to keep experimenting outdoors!
