About the Artist
Shauna is an Irish muralist and portrait artist based in New Cross. Her visual arts practice is grounded in figuration and reflects on how self-definition is informed by place. She is interested in questions of unreliable memories, collective social identity, and inter-dependence. Recently she has been working on a series of wall and canvas works focusing on femininity and light. Shauna is an alum of the Lewisham School of Muralism, and a member of both the WOM Collective and the Matchbox Collective.
